You'll remember who was waiting at every exchange.

You already
belong here

Never done a relay? Good. That's exactly who this event was built for. Raging River Relay isn't about who's fastest. It's about what happens when a group of women decide to do something hard together.

  • Will I fit in if I've never done a relay?
Most people here are doing it for the first time. You're in the right place.
  • What if I'm not fast enough?
There is no fast enough. Every pace is the right pace here.
  • What if I don't know anyone?
You will. That's the whole point.
  • Will I actually have fun?
You'll still be talking about it next year.

We believe every woman deserves to know what it feels like to be cheered for.

To be part of something bigger than herself. To discover she's capable of more than she imagined.

That's why we created Raging River Relay.

StrongHer Run Club

Four things that make
Raging River different

01
Community
You'll arrive as teammates.
You'll leave as friends.
02
Confidence
You'll surprise yourself. Every single time.
03
Encouragement
You'll never wonder if someone is cheering for you.
04
Adventure
You'll see Spokane from a completely different perspective.

Here's how a relay actually works

Make your way through a one-day relay adventure along the Centennial Trail. Never done a relay? Here's how it works.

01
Build your team
Teams are made up of 2 to 5 women. Bring your own crew or register solo - we'll match you with a team. Every size, every pace, every combination works.
02
Each runner runs multiple legs
The course is divided into legs. Each teammate runs their assigned legs, one at a time, handing off to the next runner at each exchange zone. Smaller teams run more legs. Larger teams share the load.
03
One day, start to finish
Unlike overnight relays, Raging River Relay is a single-day event. You start, run your legs, cheer your teammates, and cross the finish line - all on Sunday, September 13.
04
You don't run 50 miles. Your team does.
When your final runner crosses the line, your whole team is there waiting. Medals go on together. That's the moment. That's what you showed up for.
Race resources

Somewhere between the first exchange
and the finish line...
strangers become teammates.

The exchange zone
is everything

The running is just the in-between. The exchange zones - that's where Raging River actually lives. Here's what to expect.

01
The wait
You're watching the trail. Scanning every face. Then you spot your teammate in the distance and everything else disappears.
02
The handoff
Cowbells. Cheering. She sprints in. You sprint out. Somehow, the adrenaline carries you the entire first mile.
03
The celebration
High fives. Hugs. Someone is already crying. Everyone is laughing. This is the moment you drove here for.

"Nobody runs this relay alone. Every exchange is filled with cheering - whether you're chasing a PR or your very first relay finish, there's a place for you here."

Here's what it
actually feels like

Start line nerves
The kind that feel more like excitement than fear. You look around and realize every woman here feels exactly the same way.
Cowbells echoing through exchange zones
You hear them before you see her. And when she comes around the corner, your whole team erupts.
Teammates waiting with signs and snacks
Someone made a sign. Someone brought snacks. This is your team.
Laughing in the van between legs
You'll talk about these moments for years. The inside jokes that formed in three hours.
Crossing the finish line together
All of you. Every leg, every mile, every exchange - it all comes down to this. And it feels exactly as good as you hoped it would.

When your final runner
crosses the finish line...

Your entire team receives their medals. You'll celebrate with music, food, photos, sponsors, and one last chance to relive every mile together.
